It's not just DDO...it's EVERY Turbine game.
You should actually be thankful for them being down :P
DDO is actually a decent game, and Turbine imo is pretty good company as far as launches and downtime goes...The main problem with DDO is the lack of content, most people have run the dungeons soooo many times that the "coolness" factor of finding traps and hidden doors, etc. People just rush to the end of the instance.
BUt...their servers for both DDO and LOTRO have been down....um ...all day. You would figure they would have a contigency plan.
LOL...try and find something real to complain about.
DDO has less downtime than any other MMO I've played in my life.

EDIT: if you believe it's not, pick an MMO and I can get you a chart of their downtime vs. DDO's. I bet you real money you lose.

They only have 5 servers now......LOL their shouldn't be NO freakin downtime. How hard is it to freakin fix 5 servers....they have every employee right now banging their heads on the servers trying to figure out a stupid problem with 5 stupid servers.
um...do you get it was the LOTRO servers too? Do you get that many games have DAILY downtime, and the rest have a set WEEKLY downtime? Until just recently, DDO didn't even have that. I know the MMO forums are always filled with a million armchair IT guys and programmers who are convinced that they could do better...but as it is, you're PLAYING DDO...not writing it.
p.s. Anyone who can't find a way to entertain themselves for half of a day without their MMO really needs to get the hell out of the house.
I'm not playing crap...the servers are down. Think I might go back to WoW.....at least it works.
And WoW has never had downtimes lol.......youve been playing mmos what, 3 months now? lol
I think with your patience and IQ level, that may be a perfect match.
p.s. WoW crushes average downtime vs. DDO...just so you know. Oh, and DDO has never had a bug that actually turned into a real bug, spreading as a virus among it's users and killing thousands. WoW has though.
tbh ive never played DDO but i know people who did and still do. TBH go and plau WoW its a kids game and your showing your matureness by playing it but tbh DDO has had virtually no downtime that has seriosuly affected gameplay. You should subscribe IMO as the downtime in that game is alot alot less than others. so ye go play if you like it!

Youre gonna have real problems finding a game if you quit every time theres a downtime.
