MxO Radio, sill Around?

dalevi1dalevi1 Member Posts: 829

Hi All, I was wondering lately, are there still active MxO radio streams about? I recall RadioFreeCity and a few others around when I was hardcore grinding a year ago. The streams were by and far the best part. To a point I remember them invoking the GTA3 in me while I was playing. In any case, these guys were by far the best part of the community, and raised a sense of immersion the game lacked on it's own.

Still there?

Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom.

Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside

Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR.

The Enigma Directive still has their radio up.

    Their website is: www.theenigmadirective.net/

The URL to listen to their radio is: www.theenigmadirective.net/enigma.asx

I think this faction (guild) does not play MxO anymore. I know they play Lord of the Rings Online and either use to play or still play Guild Wars. I think some of them got into WoW, but they aren't into it that much, they mainly play LOTRO.

When I'm surfing the Internet for this or that, this is the online radio that I always tune into. There was some others, but I think they wen't out or had a name change or something like that.

This radio station plays music from The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, and some current music. If you start hearing voices as if a DJ is on, then don't be fooled. They just keep playing their list over and over and done some MxO voice acting for some of the previous Live Events, now that I think about, it's pretty old stuff.

Good stuff to listen to, who knows what else they might add to their playing list.

If you've been watching the DataNodeOne forums, you might have seen that the (well loved) Syntax player "Catzi" is in the process of launching a radio station.

The DataNodeOne announcement of Catzi radio has status updates. It looks like Thursday evenings the Vixens faction will be hosting a show according to a thread on their site.

Looks like siradio.fm has Chaotica who was one of the original RadioFreeZion DJs. Otherwise it all looks like newer pages, half of which don't work.
