I was just checking out another mmorpg community site and it is much less flash than this one, but they have competitions to win beta keys for high-profile games in closed and open beta stages.
I know this site have giveaways every now and again but, no offence, they're largely shite games that are begging people to play.
They only have like 30 keys to giveaway, but they do anonymous competitions for them like, "write a story about one of these topics", " drawer a picture to represent x", "design a cover", "make a caption for..." etc etc and they get short-listed and viewers vote.
And it just gives people a chance to earn a key rather than just getting lucky or missing out completely.
Couldn't you arrange something like this for AoC, WAR, PotBS, etc and other future hyped games and get us some decent betas?
