Hi, quick question

in Final Fantasy XI

i bought the game when it came out,  i played it for a bit but then had to leave.

 

Would i need to buy the expansions in order to play again?  the box and discs i own are for rise of the zilart.

also i couldnt find any sort of login page on the official site, is there one?

    There's no need to buy the expansions to play, only if/when you want to access the new content. 

    I'm not certain about logging in, but I believe you must use the Play Online Viewer to do so.

    you don't need the expansions but if you wanna experience the game full on you need to get at least legend of zilart and chains of promathia, when you buy the game you will have what is called Playonline Viewer as your login window hope that helps!
