For Heroes that's easy, Blasters for ranged and Scrappers for melee.
Now Villains Corruptor for ranged obviously. As for melee, well that depends. A Mastermind with his 6 pets up with both buffs on them does a lot damage, but if you mean what does best melee not relying on others I'd say the Stalker. With Assassin Strike you can pretty much 1-shot even level minions and most heroes, tankers and dwarf kheldians the exception.

Blaster for Heroe's.. Corrupter for Villains I assume, they are the "wizard" classes... alot of power.. little defense.
