The EVE Online official site has been updated with new information about this year's EVE Fanfest, including information on the Sisters of EVE Program and a preliminary schedule.

We have updated the EVE Fanfest 2007 pages and it is required reading for everyone! Something new for this year is The Sisters of EVE Program, you can now bring your significant other, or as we call her, your better half to Iceland without her getting bored. I know what you mean, the fanfest is taking place during my 21st birthday, but unfortunately, I couldn't swing getting out there for it.

Ahh well, never mind, maybe once I have graduated and emmigrated there I might have a chance of getting to a fanfest.

Flummoxed

Iceland is an interesting place for the 'rugged' tourist - situated in the middle of the North Atlantic Iceland is basically a big pile of volcanic cinder, the continent is mostly populated by big woolly sheep and brilliant emerald green grass, VERY FEW trees can be seen anywhere on the continent except where planted in peoples yards.  Active volcanic activity can be observed on tours in various parts of the country.  Culturally Iceland can boast the worlds oldest Democracy (some 1000 years old) but after being there a while you begin to understand why the Vikings gained a rep for being berserkers and acting the way they did.
