FFXI PC to XBOX 360 gamer tag problem POL-0404

in Final Fantasy XI

I already installed the game and added my Playonline ID but I can't seem to add my Playonline account to my gamer tag.  It keeps saying my Playonline id or password is incorrect (POL-0404).  I must have typed it over 20 times with and without caps lock using the controller and a keyboard but the PC version work fine.  Anyone had the same problems?  Any ideas how to get it to work? Thanks.

    that same thing happened to me when i used to play and i found out it was cus the pol account was on a different gamer tag. so i just played it on PC. besides i found it way easier to play on PC.
