Getting a Mac, and have some questions for you all.

Hi all,



I'd appreciate some insight into these:

While using the Mac OS...:

Can i still go to places like youtube.com with my mac and view movies?

Can i still use torrents and programs like utorrent etc... ?

Can i generally still surf the internet and view pages well?

Can i still use flash or java programs/websites?

Macs can't do any of that because there Mac. If you go to Youtube it will blow up, if you try to torrent the feds will come to your door, if you use the internet you'll run out of battery life or crash. Java will cause your laptop to sprout legs and sodomize the statue of Larry Flint in Los Angeles. So don't buy one you'll go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hand and nearly triple your chances of catching Ebola . You've been warned!

You doing a good thing in buying Mac. There are really.... good at... well they are certainly... uhm.. honestly I don't see why anyone would want a Mac, but that's probably because I'm a gamer.

To Answer your question:

Yes. Youtube and the likes of it uses flash, and you can install flash on mac

Yes. If you download azureus, you can download torrents. Azureus is coded in Java, which makes it multi platform, as you long as you have the virtual machine to run it(Java Runtime)

Yes, Flash and java will work.
