Is it worth it?

I saw this game at best buy and almost picked it up.  I am a MMo vet.  Been playing since 1999 with EQ1.  I just resigned up WoW out of bordom.  Anyway is this game worth it? It seems like fun.  I am not sure about running 3 char at once but I guess that is something you get used to?  a couple of questions?

1. Am I able to play only 1 char at a time or do you need to have 3?

2. Can I only play 1 char and have the other 2 on auto?

3. How is questing and crafting?

4. anything else you want to put based on your SotNW game time.

Thanks

    1. I don't understand why you would want to do this.  Then entire pull of the game is 3 characters.  You CAN... but if you did, you would not find this game interesting at all.  Comparing this game to other MMOs is a faulicy in of itself.  SotNW is very unqiue and you must handle it that way.

    2. See #1

    3. This game has MUCH better quests than almost every other Korean MMO I've ever played.  However, this is one place they didn't break the mold.  I wish they had.

As for crafting, it is a free-for-all cluster#@&;^.  It is cool if you have the UPCs to do it on your own.  And you can level different UPCs to specialize in different crafts, but you can also craft most stuff off the NPC vendors.

    4. This is a PvP Game.  I don't understand why there is a non-PK server but, the game is about Clan v Clan and Faction v Faction.  If you aren't ready for that, then this game is not for you.  Overall, it's a great game for the price and a WHOLE lot of fun.  I HIGHLY recommend finding a Clan it will help in the long run :D

    1. Yes... but you would be limited and need to group or potion spam to stay healed.

    2. Yes, a lot of people that arent very fast on micromanagement do just that. They have the fighter auto kill, the healer auto heal, and then play a dps class. Personally I let my healer auto heal, and control the other two.

    3. Crafting I havent delved with much yet. From what I can tell you go get the components and a NPC makes it. As for questing its similar to other games... but has several scripted events. Similar to instances in wow. The Idge UPC quest for instance has you try and find some stolen goods and searching a crime scene.

    4. Im currently level 45ish (have 47,45,43,42,40 and several other toons) The game is a grind... you need to expect that. But for some reason I find it enjoyable.

The game is extremely pvp oriented, and there is lots of guild politics / drama. I find the conflict of guild v guild to be interesting and intriguing you might not.

Grouping and guilds are key to the enjoyment though... find one that fits your playstyle, will keep you enjoying the game.
