Well, there are a lot of people here that still are looking forward to a new UO with the old playstyle, but for those that have problems with the old graphics, there may be a solution for that.
Some of you may know the name "iris". This used to be a custom 3d client. The developers stopped work on it and focused there efforts on Iris2.

Hell, just looking at those screens, makes the developers blood in my boil again.
Ofcourse don't mind the sometimes not so good looking graphics, that comes from a lot of 2d to 3d conversions of models. There are some screens in the developers log, showing the difference between high end textures vs the old UO one's. They are in the process as the development continues, to updating the graphics & models.
So take a look at using Iris2 with a free shard using the old playstyle. Now that UO2 for ya
