I was wondering if there is any news on Beta yet for GW. If so and you know then please post!

As far as the Beta Phase for Guild Wars, it is still unknown to the public. On May 12th however, a playable "Demo" will be available to the public worldwide, through to the 14th.
"From May 12 through 14, while Guild Wars is being demonstrated on the E3 show floor, players from around the world will be able to join in the fun and play the game in real-time over the Internet."
