Need some info! thinking about buying

From what i've seen of screen shots, this game doesnt look too bad, but im not sure if i should buy it. If some1 could answer these questions for me id appreciate, if im going to buy it i'll buy on friday (in two days).

1. What are the classes/races/jobs and how many are there?

2.Are there pets?

3. Is the grind bad?

4.Are the controls confusing or simple?

5.Is making a character confusing for a newbie?

Thnx for any information u can give me, i appreciate it!!

    archlord is alright but i didnt really care for the battlesystem or community so if i were you i would go for lord of the rings online very good community lots of help not out till april 24th but you can play for free now and get your character to lv 15 lots of things to do beginning is a little slow but isnt it in all games. get to about lv 7 or so and it becomes fun. Worth a try it is free till the 24th.

    o and yes there is pets and grinding is easy and isnt repetitive at higher levels and grouping is fun can hold more than 5 in normal groups to complete quests also character creation is easy and controls are simple

    Archlord is better, graphics are about the same, archlord has less lag, more pple play rappelz, rappelz skills are mostly the same, the archlord expansion(which is free) will make u b able 2 start at lvl 50 in archlord

    does the expansion make you able to start at lvl 50?

    messes up the whole "becoming the archlord" goal in the game doesnt it?

    but however

    im thinking of downloading the game and i'm wondering about the leveling system.

    how fast does the leveling go?

    for example something like diablo, like WoW or something more like guild wars?

    Start at level 50 where have you read that, thats a load of rubbish lol :p. You start at level 1.

    To the OP, play Archlord, its f2p and its fun :p.

    Starting at level 50 was only in the test server. What kind of game would that be to start at level 50 =) I wouldn't really call it an expansion on the game just some castle sieges and some skill effects changed with new armor and weapons.

    1.) Just recently went completely f2p leading to several long time players who are definetly disgruntled by CM, don't let them scare you off. Large influx of new players, lots of features not found in many f2p games. Auctions house, player owned mounts, storage.. lots more. Has its bugs and not very good service, if any at all but thats the same as any f2p. Most critique this as a p2p, once again they are disgrunted and just need to let off there steem, knod your head but ignore what their saying  great time to start playing btw, starting areas have been packed. Oh btw, yea the grind is horrible, always are in asian mmos and no pets. Theres 3 races and 3 classes for each race. A ranger/archer class, a caster class, and a warrior class. Well except for moon elves... no mlee for them.

    2.) Started during closed beta, played through open beta but quit not too long after launch. The game itself is pretty good, any class can have pets... 3 races with several different ways to take your character. No player owned mounts, you can rent one though. No auction house, you can sit down and setup a store  Problem with Rappelz is how overcrowed it is, the lag is absolutely insane. No longer worth playing imo.

    3.) KO is and has always been a pretty good f2p game but I haven't played it in a long time and from what i've read its on its way out. not sure, have to check out the KO forum.

    4.) okay GW Nightfall can't be compared to the previous three. Reason one its not a f2p game, you still have to purchse a retail copy. reasons two is that its not an MMO like the previous three mentioned.

    5.) Not even in the same genre, your a bit confused maybe
