iPod question

I'm an iPod noob, and I have a quick question.

The 40gb of music on my iPod is from my stolen computer, and now I have a computer without iTunes on it. If I plug in my iPod and install iTunes on this different computer, will I be able to view/play the files on my iPod? I just don't want it to clear my iPod since none of the music on it is currently on my computer, and I slaved away at torrentspy many hours to get all the music.

You can plug your ipod into your computer and when it shows up in my computer,  ( make sure you have the option that shows all hidden files on )   open it up, go to ipod control then to music, then in music, then there will be folders named F00 F01 etc. well your music is in there, the only bad news,  you have to rename every file/song.  Or you can use the method posted above me....

I'm about 99% sure that it will not erase your music. You may or may not be able to upload the music, but I know you can at least tell one of the most recent versions of iTunes that you do not want to clear your iPod when it asks.
