Stupid question but one I'd like an answer to.

Hey guys I'm pretty new to this game and I was wondering how people got their weapons to "glow".  I was in Hills of Claret (gareth) when this shar fellow started attacking me with a glowy weapon and I was curious as to how to do that. Is it an enchantment from spellcrafting or a class ability?

Weapons that glow are drops and the effect cannot be made. You can go to any teleporter, though, and /s entrance. Once there talk to the market explorer and at the bottom of the search window is a small check-box that says 'Visual Effects'. That will do a search for everything that has a 'glowy' effect on. Weapons, shields and staves are the only gear that has this kind of effect.  There are a ton of 'mediocre' items that have really high prices simply because they have a certain glowy look and some have blades entirely of light effects with no real blade there at all.
