Ok, I've never been one to REALLY care about graphics, but I've seen some earlier screens and I'd much rather keep playing MUDs 'cause at least they still leave what you "see" to your imagination. The game really looked bad and I'm not trying to be a troll or anything, but honestly it was bad... Feet in the ground, everyone looked the same and such...
Anyways I was just wondering if people could post some screenies of how it looks TODAY... I really love the concept and have been dying to play in a truely virtual world since the "good ol' UO days" (yeah, I know that gets said a lot)...
Also I have just a few questions
Any answers would be greatly appreciated as I am actually thinking of buying this game.... Something must be wrong with me

Have you looked in my thread on the forums (Big News!), in the player submitted screenshotrs on this site or on the latest screenshots on the official RV site? You'll find some fresh screen in all those places.
Character customization:
Skin colour
Race (Pict, celt, Roman, Syrian and many many more)
Character attributes (strength etc, which in turn affects your length and muscularity)
Face (at least better than when there was only one face for everyone :P)
We'll get beards (that will be able to grow/be cut off) soon, including head hair I figure. Weight and obesity will also be implemented.
FFA Full loot is the plan, but they're implementing it slowly (since anything else would cause horrendous instabilities without some features working perfectly).
There's quite a few player made villages - all of them tremendous achievements! Considering the effort to just build one hut.
Flammability will be implemented sooner or later, still waiting for that one.
No, you're solo unless you choose it, there's often at least a few people you can socialize with if you want. Just join a guild.
I hope you will enjoy the game, I sure do!
To try and add to what Zakke said, at game launch in July there was 1 pre-built roman town (Corstopitum) and 2 pre-built barbarian villages/forts (Erring and Cilurnum Area). These were all about 6 or 7 kilometers from each other. Today there are at least 5 more areas I am aware of that have been settled and constructed spread across about a 20 kilometer wide area both north and south of Hadrian's Wall. Corstopitum can sometimes have 30 people online while the smaller villages may only have 3 or 4 during peak times.
This is a very unique game and the virtual world inside is evolving in very interesting ways. After about two months of peace, another war has broken out between the barbarians and romans and the population is now varied enough and spread out enough that allegiances are not clear cut at all. There is plenty of drama each day and this player-driven sandbox is really starting to come alive.
