I just gave away my baby

BoozbazBoozbaz Member Posts: 1,918
lvl 60 feral druid. Decked out in epics....*wipes away tear*

an old guild mate offered to buy him from me but I said I'll give it to him for free, couldn't think of anyone better to take care of little ol Earthpaw.

I hope he can live up to the nasty pvp reputation I had. Oh well, time to let go of my baby.

You can't see it but the mace has +15 agility on it. I quit before AQ was opened on my server.

What goes around comes around. Besides, I have this feeling, maybe by giving it to him, he's have even more respect for what he's handling in the game.

I sold my mage/shaman account almost a year ago for $300, so I can officially say that I didn't waste any money on WOW, just plenty of time

I have a 43 Shaman on Alexstraza with almost 600 gold and is dual wield spec'd, friend of mine offered me $200 for it the other day, I declined though.

Also, to the above poster, this is not gameplay discussion concerning WoW, so it belongs in this forum.

    Selling would have been nonsense!

Giving to a friend, maybe.  I did that for my first EQ character, some evil drood on karana server...GIVING away was fine (actually, I sold it $50, the price of a new EQ game back then); it was nice, and the guy turn out to be a good raider who wasn't able to level up, so he really appreciate the gift....but find it hard when Kunark come out with 10 new levels!

My next account, I still have and never given away for anything.  If tomorrow, for any silly reason, I decide it is time to undust the old Anofalye and go teach TR, 5R or whatever silly new guild that join our server how a real grouper behave and progress, I can!  Now, this is unlikely to happen, 4 years without playing it, guess it is really dead...but we never know!  *start a horror movie song*  Funny thing is, even with an account that wasn't played for 4 years, I still would meet some requirements (AAs wise) to join some guilds, LOL, that is hilarious!

You did a good move, 1 I wouldn't do anymore, but giving to a friend is decent!  Selling would feel dirty IMO.

I can relate, but I made somebody pay for my devil children. 60 Rogue, 60 Warlock, 60 Warrior. Didn't stay up for adoption for too long :-P. You aren't going to miss the game much at all as time comes. Infact you'll learn to look back and realize it wasn't that good.
