i need some type of program to test my surround sound...i don't think all are going..or something like that

    But for functionality, dare I say it...Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsXP/windowsmediaplayer/51audio.asp

    The M-word link has you DL a file that plays in your media player from left-front, right-font, rear-left, rear-right, and then the sub.

     My all time fav is to throw in myu Akira DVD and run the THX sound tests.
