Anyone else remember this game? I had forgotten about it until IGN put in article about a few games that got lost in development.

I remember it know, it had awesome graphics and great promise, kinda of dissapointing that it died.

Yea, I remember it. When I was beta testing Neocron, all the people that were upset with Neocron at that time were trying to hype up Citizen Zero. It was suppose to come out Q2 of 2002. Of course it didn't. I think they got too busy with trying to sell an engine instead of making a game with one. Seems that companies that do this, such as Epic, tend to make more money off of licensing their engine than selling games. The one article was actually explaining them showing off their technology on the XBox. So, we still aren't sure if what the people saw was going to be a game or not. I remember watching videos of CZ, but still no game. people shouldn't hype their own game so early. At least they still have a chance to come out with the game before Duke Nukem Forever.
