Eh, it looked pretty bad at first. The "F2P" yet the buying in game money with RL money made me suspicious of a catch. Someone on another forum I check out said it was "cute" so I decided to try it. So far it has a lot of similarities with Ragnarok online- which was a fun game.



It's a grindfest though. There's not much skill required to play, it's simply kill hundreds of X until you level up, then you can start killing hundreds of Y. Still though, I'm enjoying it so far.



From what I've learned it really is free to play, but paying gives some obvious perks. For example the ability to send server-wide shouts. But not paying doesn't gimp your character,.



If you want to join me I'm on Windia server. It doesn't matter what channel you choose, because you can teleport from channel to channel.



Anyhoo, just my 2 cents on the game.

Its a fun game, especialy once it gets released on the Nintendo DS.

It's a major grindfest. I was in beta and I played for about two weeks. You have to grind to get "EVERYTHING" in this game and if you want to take the shortcut, you either bot, steal people's items or buy items using real money. Although it's an unique game for a MMORPG, I just couldn't stand the extreme grinding.

If that's true, it's going to be awsome. As a handheld I could deffently enjoy the game more.

I never played Ragnarok before. I read the manga and read up on the MMO a lot though.

Mages are majorly overpowered until the third class.  Every other class pretty much is worthless until 3rd class.



In f2p games, I prefer FlyFF.
