Banned from wow

I know this topic has been brought up before, but this time I was the one that felt the axe.  3 lvl 60's later, and 1 and a half years of work was banned today.  This was due to them stating I was using multiple accounts.  They found my account being used by 2 IP addresses.  The fact of the matter is I was using two IP's, one on my laptop when im on the road, and my second on my home pc.  I thought maybe two IP's at the same till could get you banned, but also using two computers to play the game also does this too.  I find it pretty sad that with ppl buying accounts and gold all the time, I get the wrath for using a two computers to play the game.  I wrote in explaining that I use the laptop when im working, and use my pc when im at home, but Ive recieved very little feedback.  To those who also been banned I was wondering do they still bill your account?  I cant even get into my account to cancel my subscription cause im so pissed, so the last thing I want to happen is continued being billed and I cant even play.  This is to anyone that uses 2 comps to play wow, dont do it.  Dont take the game over to your friends to show it off cause his pc will end up getting you banned.  Hope this helps anyone that might be interested in wow, or if you happen to use two comps.

I suppose they do it to make themselves feel better because they ar too lazy and stupid to ban those who deserve it. Petition them and explain your matter, it is illegal for them to continue billign your banned acount and you will actually have a legal case if they do, as that is the violation of their own EULA and breaking several laws as well.

I used to work for Blizzard...about a year ago now...last time I checked they would only "ban" an account in your particular situation if:

1) Your two accounts were logged in at same time under 2 different IPS

2) One of your accounts within a 24hr period logged in under a differnt country IP ii.e. US 344.55.55 then CA 222.222.22 etc.

3) Any account being logged in previously from a US IP and then on a CN (China) IP is gone! Insta-ban

I've run three accounts across various IPs on several networks on 3 different computers in any given day and havent been banned in 2 yrs.  I will logged same account onto 2 different computers at various times throughout the day and at least two different networks.  School/Home/&Work

BUT...things may have changed as Blizzard has evolved but thats where it was and I still havent been banned.

I would call them up on the phone, get a live person since their email support drags through the mud.

Also as said before, continued billing you is illegal and violates their own policies as well.

Blizzard dont care about their community, they're never out there giving them extra support or anything : Their CS is the worst ive seen. they basically dont give a crap.

Can they really ban you for using different ips? Does it say that somewhere in the rules? Because I've been hearing too many of these "I've been banned for "X" stories" and some of the things people get banned for are ridiculous. It's never anything serious that affects the game it's always something like logging in from 2 ips. Lol what could logging in from 2 ips possibly mean? That you have 2 computers? That you are account sharing? "OH NOES IF PEOPLE ARE ACCOUNT SHARING THEY WILL ACHIEVE LEVEL 60 IN 4 DAYS INSTEAD OF 1 WEEK!!!!!ONE11!!!!"

If anyone could reach level 60 in one week they´re hardcore. Bleeping insane and lifeless, probably unhealthy too, but hardcore. And if his story is true, then it´s because Blizzard is paranoid about power-leveling services. So it could be better put as "OH NOES IF PEOPLE ARE GETTING POWERLEVELED THEY WILL ACHIEVE LEVEL 60 IN 21 DAYS INSTEAD OF months!!!!!ONE11!!!!" Followed by another one going "QUICK!!!11 BAN HIM FOR GREAT JUSTICE WHILE I RUN AROUND THE OFFICE WEARING UNDERWEAR ON MY HEAD!!!111!!!!1"

I'm not sure he is.  Maybe
they've just not got around to you yet or maybe there is other criteria
involved, but I've seen quite a few people complain about exactly the
same thing.  Some of these people really don't seem to be the type
who would do anything dodgy, either.

Mate you are better off without it, it really was a shitstorm waiting to happen. I was banned because me and my brother played it together and we was stood in Goldshire after doing a quest. 2 Turkish people walked over to us and started telling us to and I quote "fuck off you scumbag american" I merely said "I'm English so get it right" and I logged on 2 days later....You have been banned for racism!! LoL
