No, I DID play the game, back in the korean beta. and it IS very diffrent from other korean MMORPG's, that is why I'm so hyped about it. but alas, the stereotype mind still rules here it seems.

Unfortunetly, no official subscription numbers have been announced due to the fact that fiscal year 2006 revenue reports have not come out. When I or other people try and get an actual interpretation of how many subscribers a game has we base it off of how much the game has earned over that period of time, since an mmo company can outright lie about its numbers, or they're could be people using multiple free accounts.
However, it has been estimated that the numbers are currently at 2.25 million in only Korea and Japan. In the same amount of time. WoW only had 2 million subscribers in US, EU, China, Korea, and Japan. Also its anticipated to have resounding success in many other asian countries due simply to the popularity of Kim Hakku. They are starting Open Beta service in January for China w/ the9 publishing, and Singapore.
Also for you people who called it "Anime". What the hell are you smoking cause it must be DAAAAAMMMMNNNN GOOOOOD? Try going outside and opening your eyes. Then you will see how good the graphics are in this game. I agree Age of Conan has slightly better graphics but out of all upcoming mmos and released mmos, only Huxley and Age of Conan are close to the graphics in this game with the exception that Granado Espada can run well on a far worse machine.

I know I'm comming out of no where but I don't reccomend either. Both Aion and 2 moons look like they're going to be exactly the crap that everyone is accusing GE of being. Aion will probably be Archlord with Angels instead of ruling the world. 2 moons looks even worse, lacking a gimick completely.
Sadly, GE's translation isn't looking to good. For RvR I'd reccomend trying DAoC right now and then maybe waiting for WAR.
I don't even see why Gameloading and Cleffy are even bothering to argue. With all the closed minded people posting in this thread. Judging a game they've never even played before. Yet if I was to do the same for a western game. I'd be told to STFU or "It's not even out of beta yet". You know those same tired ass lines they use to defend any game released in the west. When compared to something released in the east.
