I was a bit bored and I was thinking of this, why the hell did they chose the name of 9 Dragons? I mean why not 10Dragons or 3Dragons? The game name looks dumb with a number in it too, looks better like Nine Dragons. Any1 know why they chuse just that name?
It was a random number that Acclaim pulled out of their @sses. They were like we need a name and said LETS GET DRAGONS IN IT. Then someone asked how many and then they all said NINE! ok enough with the sacrasm Maybe if you would actually try to learn a little but about the game you might realize the reason. The Nine comes from the elite warriors of the clans. There are 9 main clans in this game, and six you can join right away and then there are three more advanced clans. The clans are Wu-Tang, Shaolin, League of Beggars, Brotherhood of Thieves, Sacred Flower, and Heavenly Demon. The three advanced clans that you will be able to join at a later point in the game if you choose to do so are Iron Fist, Noble Families(or something like that) and Black Dragon. The dragons part comes from each clans champion that fought in the big free for all in order to determine control of China. Sounds like you don't keen on it's storyline. The whole storyline is based on 9Dragons, that's why the title is named 9D. Still, if you only fancy on the fighting system it is not a problem. It is amazing!
