From what Ive heard the input lag is quite bad out of the box. I think there are much better altenatives on the market.
    such as?
XIM 4, there are also a couple others I just can't remember them off the top of my head.
So you think XIM 4 is better? I'd love to get one of these but I'd like to get one that I know will work and is considered "good".
I haven't personally used them but I've been around my friend who used the XIM 3 quite a bit. It's not going to feel 1 to 1 like on a PC because it's emulating a controller. But from what I get he basically said it was 1000x better than a controller for him.

He had tried a couple options but kept settling with the XIM, but XIM 4's run around 100+ dollars usually.

To be clear, this is not for console games on PC but just to be used with a console, correct?
Yes this device is used to plug into a console to emulate a controller and allow the players to use a mouse and keyboard on the console.

  • Which MMORPG has the best F2P model now ?

    Eldurian said:

Overall it's a great model, which is why you see most modern MMOs using it.

That's not true at all. There are a few using it but not most. Eve, BDO, Albion, Runescape, Archeage, Tera, and WoW are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. Which are big games, it's just not all that many use this system.

Some people would say it's not a great model, simply because you can pay money to get gold in the game legally.

  • Steam Hammer Early Access Key Sweepstakes! - MMORPG.com

They keep making Survival games in every possible setting with the same features. The only difference between any of them is what the weapons / buildings look like and what the method of travel is. I don't think this looks interesting in the slightest, I just watched a gameplay and it looked the same as every other early access survival game.

  • Interview Teaser - 'Booze & Drugs Were Added to FFXIV to Give Adventurers a Way to Unwind' - Final F

Would it just be a role play thing? How does spending time in the tavern in the game help the players unwind?

I don't know if it's any answer but I do know in a lot of the guilds I've been in, they tend to go do a bunch of content, and then hang out in the housing areas and just talk to each-other. I wonder if it's the same kind of idea. Just with booze and drugs, which would surely make that type of situation more interesting to look at.

It wasn't even just one guild that did that either. It was like 4 or 5 of the ones I've been in. They all go to the housing areas and just hang out and talk to people. It was oddly social for modern MMO's.
