Hello, this is my first thread on mmorpg.com.
I have been trying to get into a mmorpg lately and have been having a hard time getting into any of them long term.

Isn't the solution obvious? Don't play MMORPG long term. Hop around or play single player games. There are also tons of online games if you want to play with others.

You know what, i really wish it was that simple xD
It is. It is not like there is a lack of good games to play. I find it silly, for me, to stick to any one game.

Heck, i don't even stick to a single player game before i finish it. I have so many games on steam, origin access and battlenet that i just play whatever i please at the moment. Anything else is suboptimal and too much work.

  • Can loot boxes be used for good? EA and others could use this idea and make loot boxes loved by all

    No.

    /thread

"Good" is subjective. If i bet EA shareholders find loot boxes pretty "good". Heck, may be i should buy some EA stocks to get in on the action.

But virtual worlds sometimes don't, but then you know this yet continue to keep baiting the same hook.

What virtual worlds? Are they still making virtual world MMOs without a fast travel option?

And if this is bait .. are you the fish? Seems like you are "hooked"?

  • MHO shuts down after less than 6 months on consoles. Microsoft offering refunds, NA Sony is not.

I'm the same way. Don't really care who gives me a refund, as long as I get one if the product goes belly up in the first few months.

Gaz knew months prior to console launch that they are in trouble, yet they kept pushing this game out and tricked countless consumers. They wanted to discontinue the PC version MONTHS before the console version was announced. No idea why this is not a bigger deal. Those morons need to get sued for that.

    Yeh.

And it would be fun to watch MS (or anyone else) sue the ex-CEO and officers of Gaz. They probably committed some kind of fraud if they negotiate based on bad faith.

But aside from the fun of watching a train wreck, i really don't care if MS or Gaz pays for the refunds (not that i need one).
