Just wanted to say that I tend to listen to people who sound like reasonable human beings, and don't call other names or use ad hominem arguments in general. So I think I'll check out the game. Not that I think it's all peachy, but I'm just anti-anti.
Good for you! See, even if you make a simple statement, these same folks will jump all over you and bash your opinion. If one hates something as benign as a game it's time to move on in life.
blah blah blah... Folks will rant about there add-on store or telethons, but the reality is anything in those stores can be made/attained in game ...blah blah blah
Well Sean, that's because you have a lot of practice noticing reskinning. All those Unity indie early access knocks-off you're always raving about are packed full of it.SEANMCAD said:I watched a video of Battlefront game play in a European city.some-clueless-guy said:It is a damn shame that BF2 was received so poorly I think.
EA's reputation, which until the launch of this under-appreciated gem was held in great respect, has received a devastating blow that will make it hard for gamers all over the world to trust them again.
I don't think that this set back will cause a praise-worthy company like EA to go downhill. I am sure that they will once again distinguish themselves as the pillar of moral integrity that they have been for the gaming industry throughout the years; and thanks to that slowly regain the player-base's trust.
To me it looked EXACTLY like they just reskinned Battlefield
How do people not notice this?
Yes, especially if you're tired of the sheer number of shitbags playing MMOs these days.nariusseldon said:There are still beyond a small niche of players playing TEXT games?
Yep, same here. MMOs have basically become low-quality SP games populated with annoying snot-nosed brats. It's like having toddlers pumped up on sugar running around in your house while you're trying to relax.Kyleran said:I actually have..... but not really because of loot boxes, just the general direction the genre took in many areas.postlarval said:As is the way of all things MMO...
You can't stop it. Best to stop playing MMOs altogether if one is bothered too much by these things.
Single player games are pretty cool though, especially if you wait until all the DLC's are bundled into a single package. (and don't mind playing them 6 or 7 years later)
