I'm definitely a fan of EQ2, but it plays nothing like AA did. It does have some in depth lore and a ton of quests, like AA, so don't think I'm not recommending it - because I most certainly am. It's a great game with a - at least on the RP server…

Sadly, it's not about player backing. It's about NCSoft. They've already said they're not doing anything with it. The original devs tried to get it back so they could run it, but it didn't work out. It's just dead.
