Well, for what its worth I have the game and I am really enjoying it. I am not concerned that I will not meet other players. In fact I prefer it that way. Its nice that while exploring I don't have to keep looking over my shoulder for players whose only purpose in life is to gank players.
First off I play EVE and like any game it has its good and bad points.
I think the biggest problem EVE has is that they seem to only listen to a select group of players and that group is about as conservative as you can get. Any change that they don't like causes the EVE forum to explode.
If they make it easier for new players to get started you will hear howls about Carebears, Eve is giving in to casuals and so on.
I would like to see EVE grow but the current player base will make sure that it does not happen.
Well I am 71 years old and I have a different perspective on the state of the world.
Nothing has changed. Similiar things have been happening since humans started to exist. People have been doing bad things to each other now and in the past, that will never change.
Also, now with the internet and 24 hour news, you hear about everything that happens anywhere on the planet. When I was young network news only lasted 15 min on TV and newspapers mostly carried local happenings.
