Dauntless News - The Dauntless team has sent out a brand new trailer to show off a tiny bit more of the game in action. In the trailer, viewers get a look at the hub city of Ramsgate, see a crafter in action and get to check out a snowy owlbear behemoth called Skraev.

    Looked like a Monster Hunter like game before and the trailer reinforces that.

    Yes, i'm a bit disappointed. I know it is heavily inspired by Monster Hunter, but i thought it would be a more coop story driven (like Freedom Wars on the Vita) instead of just a copy/paste of MH with a twist. God Eater and Toukiden fill that need for me. We will see when this launches. I do love the art style.

    After playing it the game is not what I thought it would be. Does not have much meat on it's bones ;)

    Doesn't Dauntless has a NDA for Alpha, just for this reason? Believe they went old school with development and Alpha really means Alpha. Beta will be the "full" game and content creators and press will be gladly invited for that to spread to their view/opinions.
