Recently I spent some time with ‘Steam Hammer’, a steampunk take on the survival genre currently in Early Access on Steam. After several hours of digging, running, building and dieing I have walked away with some mixed feelings on this Steampunk Survival game. This is our preview of the Early Access title ‘Steam Hammer’.

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
If mmorpg.com says it's steampunk then it damn well is dude, don't you forget it.

early access has nothing really to do with it. Its happened before with Life is Feudal code
and to be fair, Call of Duty has been doing it for more than a decade so ease up there

what... the.... actual.... fuck....
Is that really their add for the game or it's a parody ?
I think I'll keep looking at Worlds Adrift. It does have some of those elements but not too badly, and it has a very different setting from the vast majority of MMOs.
It's taken from this.
You'd need to be a survival game junkie to go for this one. And not give a damn about it being in EA. Promising is kind of a death knell in EA games these days. Way too many never meet their promise or potential.
