In Tibia, there is a mysterious door that until now has remained unopened. Called the Gate of Expertise for Level 999, no one player has attained such a lofty height....until now, or more accurately, sometime in the very, very near future. Tibia player 'Kharsek' has achieved level 998 and will soon be eligible to turn the knob on the door that was added as a "joke" over a decade ago.

    He already hit 999 and said he wont share it with anyone. He streams on twitch but hard to understand unless you're from Brazil.

    He didn't hit 999 yet, the site that shows player stats is only saying 998 isn't it?

    On FF11 I did a quest for the first legendary fishing rod.
    It took me 3 months of daily fishing for 4-5 hours each (then diminishing returns would trigger)

    After catching 10.000 moat carps I finished the quest and got the rod + a note saying something like:
    What a waste of time. You shouldn't play so much!

    I expect something like that here too.

    That's a bit messed up considering most of the content in FFXI takes forever to complete.

    Ok I looked it up on the FF11 wiki. The exact text is:

    We are all deeks, if we weren't, we would have spent our time improving our society or finding the cure to cancer or some other meaningful activity lol :)

    He's probably not going to tell anyone because there are still other players who are playing who might want to find out from playing the game and not on some forum.
