Social-based MMORPGs

Does anybody know of any social-based games like The Sims Online or There? I'm looking for either free ones, beta ones, or just ones that are good enough to pay for.

    I do not know of any purely social mmo's.  Most seem to be based exclusively around combat and the social aspects you would expect to find in a genre entitled Massively Multi-Player are largely absent in favour of solo-centric, hub-based gameplay.
