Played Trial, Loved, Now need some friends to play with

in Final Fantasy XIV

I just finished the 14 day trial and I have really fallen in love with this game.  I am ready to go out and pick it up and sub, but before I do that I need to know there are some people out there I can play with, guilds, etc.  Anyone willing to pick up a new guy and help him through the game.  I picked up a lot in the trial, but  have questions and need an active friend and guild.

I look forward to hearing back and getting started.

    visit official forums or reddit or even this site. find an FC that is catered to new players. even in game some FC for new players keep shouting in main cities. I think its the perfect home to start with, then you will get to meet many at end game and whoever click with you its your group.

     

    its better then depending on 1-2 people who take your hand and clear everything for you making the game boring for you i would bet

    I appreciate the feedback.  I'm definately not looking for someone to run me through, there is no enjoyment in that.  So I guess I need an FC that caters to new players.  I'll take a look at the links posted and see what I find.  In the meantime if there are any other new players interested in starting up let me know.  Maybe we can start something on our own?

    What server are you on?

     

    I'm on Diabolos in a small, but friendly and helpful Free Company.  Did you want a new trial code to use to start on a new server?
