Embedding Videos

Quick question on embedding videos -- tried adding the shared link in the YouTube Video input but nothing was shown in the post.  Is it still possible to embed videos within posts?  Did a straight link for now, but is there some trick to embedding the snapshot to th vid in the post?

    They used to allow this, but I think the powers that be removed it.
