pillar of success or landmark of failure?

Seems it can go either way at the moment to me.   I never liked it when games wanted to copy other games, in this case it almost seems to follow the development plan of EQ Landmark.  Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing yet.  I see a lot of potential in this game to be something really fun.  What do you think, will the Landmark similarities be good or bad?

Hi,  before Landmark made their announcements we were already working on the system and thus when they announced it we had to re-think how our game would be different. As we are a small company for us to compete with similar things as what a big company like SOE is doing with Landmark we have decided to put more into the game play like Quest's, skills upgrading and so forth rather than just the building side of it, hoping we can put something out there that's different from what you can get from Landmark.
