Fans of the Warhammer 40,000 IP will be happy to hear that a mobile game based on the iconic property is in the works. Called "Warhammer 40k: Carnage", the game is in development by Roadhouse Interactive and is expected to launch in May.
Warhammer 40,000: Carnage takes gamers straight into a world of chaotic action, as an iconic and powerful Space Marine, ripping through the Ork horde with brutal menace. Players equip themselves with a lethal arsenal of Boltguns, Chainswords, Grenades, Thunder Hammers, and more.
A twisted sense of gratification comes from unleashing Carnage on hordes of menacing Orks and other warring factions, on a planet mysteriously engulfed in Rage. The game is a fast-moving action Side-Scroller, where the right combination of weapons and Wargear and upgrades, make the difference between life and death. Players can also team up to complete challenging Fireteam missions.
The Space Marines must uncover the truth of what’s happened to the once prosperous planet, Mithra, level by level, before the rage storm drives the entire population to insanity and violent death!

meh a mobile game
I would kill for a proper, turn based, muli-player 40k game to be released.
Heck they could even sell the army sets as additional purchases as long as the software implementation was true to the table top rules.
