So, what does this game offer?

in Elder Scrolls Online

I checked their website, I  can see that this game offer - pvp and leveling.

Is there anything special about this game compared with other games?

What is the difference?

    If you want to simplify MMO's down to "leveling and PVP" it offers absolutely nothing new.

    Its just like golf, you can play golf on any golf course, they have balls, grass, and holes for you to hit your ball in the general direction of.

    Yet some people might be excited to play on a new course for the subtle differences in layout or design.

    To people that think golf is just balls and holes and funny hats, probably wont matter much.

    For me I'm enjoying the game because it doesn't feel like all the other mmos I've played. The combat system isn't a copy paste like most games. Questing isn't the typical kill quests and it encourages exploring. The game world is absolutely stunning. The environments are what really have been appealing to me the most. I also like the interaction I've had to have with players buying and selling things. Typically in most games I would just go to the AH and never talked to anyone and feel overwhelmed by so much to look at. In ESO I see something in chat I want and I pm the person and they send it to me. Also I've found that I can sell things rather quickly this way as well where on an AH I might have to wait longer. This is nothing new of course, but the way they set the game up it encourages more player interaction which feels missing in most games these days. There are of course guild shops, but I haven't had the chance to look at those yet. I've leveled to 26 so far and I don't really feel like I've been grinding at all.

    I have pre paid the game, and I cannot log into the game even though I have paid for it + the headstart.

     

    I know people are in the game - and indeed they are having a blast - but why take the risk of wasting 60 USD and the game does not work?

    My suggestion is wait with buying it. Do not support the poor service they are having at the moment.

    I know other will say they do not understand what I'm saying since they are having a blast - but then again, we all have different experience.

     

    It is your shot. Do you want to take the chance, or do you want to wait?

    If you buy it now there's no guarantee that your game will work.
