    What precedent pray tell ?

Moments later they let you engage it on your terms and do so with little regard of threat.  ESO is slightly better and yes the collision things is kinda of a sore spot for brief moments (but not that bad, and has improved continously..... it is beta after all).

The thing that I think makes it for me though, is no game has had a environment that has drawn me in and actually enjoy its game world (Best looking MMO I've played to date and I've played all major ones in the last 10 years).  It's a little lonely at times, but I kinda like this type of adventuring loneliness because I feel connected to the world and genuinely want to explore it and I don't feel hand held like pretty much every MMO out there.

AvA is ....nda, but like I said I'm a pvp guy and its generally all I care about, but it's good enough for me to be buying into this game.

So who else was impressed enough with Beta (or Weekend Beta's) to purchase?

Your right the hate for this game is the worst I've ever seen. The funny thing is that the game is so amazing and fun. It's a shame how many people are going to miss out on an awesome game, because of all the negative publicity won't get it. I for one can tell you this game is HELLA FUN!!!! and I have already pre-order it.

I played beta and liked some of it. I wouldn't say I hated it or its a bad game, just not for me is all. I wont be buying it but I will keep on eye on it as time goes on. Never know what dev's will do.  :)

I had already pre-ordered the physical Imperial Edition and after playing the weekend's beta I'm definitely keeping the pre-order

Was a no until I got done with starter areas - then became a yes.  Ordered physical Imperial - I want the lore book.

I fully enjoyed the beta and found myself so immersed in the story I lost track of time on a number of occasions. I'll see you on launch day.

Ohh so much this. If it wasn't for the TES swag coming with the physical CE I wouldn't bother.

Same - hate their Imperial race paywall gimmick but I want the lore book.

After two beta weekends, I'd rather just keep my money. It's not just worth it IMO.

Not me, I labeled the game as shit before I go into beta, and once I did get in, it defently deserved the shit label I gave it. So no, I personally won't touch the game when it comes out, skyrim was already pretty bad for a TES game, and this gme is worse. The main reason its worse is most test games by themseves are trash, to really make the game worth playing it needs mods, lots of mods, skyrim was a prime example of it, I thought the game completly sucked till I got t3nd0s skyrim redone overhaul mod, which actually made it into a really enjoyable game. Mind you skyrims plot is still one of the dumbest things I have seen come out of bethesda. Anyway, other than the game being pretty lackluster, the lack of being able to mod it to make it better reinforces the shit/garbage label I gave it even more.

The game is honestly another SWTOR, fanboys will buy the game in droves so it will have high box sales, but the game will be a ghost town by its 2nd or 3rd month after release, I mean the game is bascally a themepark that just uses 1st person view insted of the normal view mmo's use. We've seen this pattern with SWTOR and a few other mmo's based on big name IP's and they all follow the same pattern: High box sales, but next to no retention after the first 2 -3 months of release. Reviews of the game have also not been very positive either so far.

I just hope when it goes f2p which will prob happen in the first 6 months, it won't be as restricted as swtor is, where you bascally can't do anything without subbing.

Anyway not trying to be a troll here just stating my opinion. If people wanna buy this garbage let them, its their money right? If you play at least 30 hours i'd think you got your 60 bucks worth, least imo.

Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:

    A. Proven right (if something bad happens)

    or

    B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

You summed up my thoughts on this as well. Not the worst I've ever played just not for me. FAR too "consoley" for me, I despise consoles. I hate the consoley interface. I found the skills to restrictive, maybe after launch there will be many more, interesting ones discovered/revealed, I wasn't impressed with what was on offer. Nice graphics, but I was surprised they weren't better, I see better coming out of the asian-market in their AAA titles. I too will keep a eye on it, maybe in time it'll develop into something...

The weekend test took me from meh to yeah. Cyrodil clinched it but I was leaning toward purchasing just from the early questing. Never being asked to kill 10 of anything or go out and collect a bunch of stuff and rush right back was a god-damned delight.

The game just didn't "grab" me.  Very boring and didn't like the combat at all.  So, I'm giving this one a pass.

I work hard, I lift 50 lbs all day long, I clean my own house, I do my own laundry, clean my own dishes, take out my own trash,  I mow my lawn,  I trim my trees, I snow blow my driveway,  I chop wood for heat, I fix my own cars, I paint my garage, I take care of dogs and cats.    I earn my own money, I buy my own stuff, I am responsible, I have good credit, I work for what I buy,  I donate to charity, I'm independent....     I'm not a freeloader, a scallywag, a leech, a entitled, spoiled, whining, crying, jobless, lazy, user, deadbeat, alcholoic, drag on society that asks for FREE or Handouts from anyone for my entertainment and Neither should you!

I bought the Retail Collectors Edition because a Mature Independent individual should be able to afford things they want.   If they cant, they shouldn't be playing a Mature game for Mature folks.

I "might have" played the game for my first time over a year ago, and I bought the Imperial Edition the day it was announced. Cyrodiil is enough to keep me, a hardcore pvper, happy for months post launch. Everything else is a bonus that might keep me longer.

    Dozens of MMO's, RTS's, FPS's, etc.

Went with the Imperial edition and waiting for launch.

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.
