Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen: Dual Wielding DPS Specialist, the Wizard, Detailed

SBFordSBFord Former Associate EditorMember LegendaryPosts: 33,129

The Patheon: Rise of the Fallen team is ready to reveal the latest character class in the form of the Wizard, a dual-wielding DPS / Support specialist with a wide range of magic skills.

Through the use of dangerous chaos magic, the Wizard taps into the array of magical energies that permeate Terminus to form devastating spells. They are capable of harnessing the powerful magic called the Terminus Arcana to grant them the ability to teleport themselves and others across the varied climates of Terminus. When not doing this they decimate their foes with a variety of magical disciplines. Regardless of the challenge, a craft wizard can root, snare, blink and nuke his way to victory.

Be wary when casting spells on a wizard. Whether frenzy or aspect, a wizard's understanding of the magic that surrounds him or her gives them the ability to not only deflect or turn it back at you but to also change the very nature of a spell cast on them or their group. This is one of many reason why those who have survived an encounter with a Wizard often refer to them as the Warmages of Chaos.

Any mmo worth its salt should be like a good prostitute when it comes to its game world- One hell of a faker, and a damn good shaker!

Does sound more and more like a TRUE successor to old original EQ! I can't wait to see the reveal of their Mage from EQ, I've wanted a EQ style mage for years, they were so great, all the summons, the particulars of the elemental pets, give me a new Mage PLEASE-oh-please!!!

These guys are just brilliant at coming up with classes.  So tired of the same ones in every game doing the same damn things.  Only problem would be deciding what to actually play as.

Just to question the philosophy. Army of Socrates.

Yeah how dare they talk about this game between the 50 ESO threads that pop in and out all day!  You can hate it but the game will get the funding and release.  I wonder why you are so mad at them though?  Did Everquest hurt you? Did Vanguard ruin your day? I dislike a bunch of MMO"s but I don't hang out in threads discussing them and throw a fit about it.

More good news about the classes, Vanguard had the best classes in an mmo. I loved the healers in game, oh and the offensive/defensive targets were awesome too.

Fuck me, this is the game ive been waiting for for years, a pve game with PURPOSE, and this comming from a hardcore pvper even, uo/daoc,  rank14/gladiator in wow, first on server rank 70 in swtor.

All these Classes sounds amazing, with lots of utility, wich in heart truly is the fun aspect of classes, their "utility" and special abilities assigned only to that class, that doesnt look like an ability from another class in a word disguise. AND YEAH the future is NICHE games, cant catter to all, and we are definitively over a million who wants the old mmo feel back, purposeful pve. LOOK AT IT, why the fuck farm all this pve gear in wow instance??? u dont travel anywhere anyways, its all instance shit, and u could run around naked without getting ur butt hurt. shit im drunk...

How many MMOs do you know that get developed in two years or less? Now how many of those are quality?

Pet Darkfall? What? This site has treated Darkfall worse than just about any site on the internet.

Make the land mass smaller or summat and just realease this game with a sub

What? To get this game made at all they need developers and developers need money, hence kickstarter.
