Am i the only one who is a bit bothered by that? Im no graphics nazi but a lot of the armor looks simply like they have taken the naked character model and painted the armor over it - that might be an easy way to do it but it looks quite cheap. Even mmo's muuuuuch older didnt do it to that extend - for example age of conan which i still consider to have some of the best mmo armor i have ever seen...it looks a bit cheap no?
At least they could make the armor bulk a bit bigger, it just looks weird that a character is wearing a heavy armor that snugs his skin tightly like a wet suit?!
example from age of conan in contrast: http://th08.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2011/174/3/9/tamarian_tigers_faction_armour_by_tulx-d3jrm85.jpg
the difference might be subtle but having different "layers" makes armor looks so much better and so much more realistic. Sometimes it also seems through smart use of "open" and closed armor spaces age of conan just much better creates the "illusion of layers" and depth...either way, armor in eso looks kinda meh and altough we do have different art styles you can easily recognise that the basic armor models come from the same artists which imo is bad - they should hire the age of conan guys.
