    (smiles) Merry Xmass, and so happy that i have no interest whatsover for these events.. I play to feel like a hero, or atleast like someone trying to be a hero.

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    I enjoy the gifting, but I have to admit, the drop rate could be a bit better.

    For F2P RPGs, lots of them ask you to pay money for the holiday event items, too.

    That's actually more realistic, don't these things normally cost money? In a normal scenario his dad would have bought him all the presents :-p

    Happy Christmas y'all.  What is your day been like?  I suppose nothing like this little feller?  I started the day cooking & cleaning.  Wrapped one last gift.  Spent sometime in Minecraft.  Called my family, checked my email.  Spending some time in the forums, then back to coding.

    F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing.
    Even telemarketers wouldn't think that.
    It costs money to play.  Therefore P2W.

    Funny because it is true.

    Only christmas event I really enjoyed was frostfell in EQ2. Everyone got a little something and it didn't feel like a monetization model in disguise.
