If you don't mind slow, boring fighting, WoW style quests and paying a monthly fee, FFXIV is most definitely worth it. If any of those bother you, save yourself the trouble and don't buy that.

Boycotting EA. Why? They suck, even moreso since 2008.

yup sure is. Being multiple classes on one character, in depth crafting system, good story, fun dungeons, whats not to like?

By all that did you mean grind fates all day long in really boring ass combat?  Because if so, then yes.

If you go to Gamefly the promo code is on the website where you put the order in. Right before you confirm the order you put the code in and it drops the price to 11.99... Merry Christmas.

Your choice to the first  and in 2.1 only 2 week from now dungeons will be just as viable. To the second thats your opinion and won't argue it. :)

    Lol, fair enough.

Just picked this up for the $12 that was mentioned.  Pretty good deal IMO.  If I don't like it during my 30 day free game play then I can just walk away.

Hmm, I've just started playing a week ago and now this is on discount...

I can only encourage everyone who isn't sure about this game to get it for $12 - it's really worth it!
