Age of Wushu: Marriage System Detailed

Age of Wushu players looking to walk down the aisle with their favorite martial arts master need wait no longer thanks to the arrival of the new marriage system. The Age of Wushu site has been updated with tons of new information about how the marriage feature will work.

The Marriage Registry:

Eligible bachelors and single ladies can register themselves through the Matchmaker with self-recommendations, in hope of seeking (or attracting) the destined one.

The Proposal:

Male characters then have the option to either propose to a lady on the registry, or any other lady that he fell in love with a Betrothal Gift (self determined amount of Taels). Should the lady refuse the proposal, the money is returned. If the lady accepts the gift however, then congratulations, they are now engaged.

    Considering they don't look up your skirt when you make a character to make sure you are the "right" sex why would they force the issue in game.

    You don't have to be gay to play an opposite sex character, but if you're going to get married in a game ( which makes me laugh) you'd probably want to marry a player of the right gender for you, regardless of what sex they chose to make their character.

    For what it's worth, a formal companion system, which allow "bromance" and "womance" relationships will be in a future AoW version next year or earlier.

    Not angry, just disappointed. Surprised? Nah, not really. Such a little thing to add or allow, but I guess it's still too much to ask for.

    -____- This game needs to finish dieing, it has the worst bot problem I have ever seen (invincible teleporting bots 24/7)

    When did you play? The first month? They broke bots a long time ago. Now if they could do the same with gold spam....

     

    The game has more features and systems than any mmorpg I've played. This will be a welcomed addition.

     

    edit - btw,  Wushu was steam greenlighted last month. It's not going anywhere sorry image

    I'm getting ready to try out AoW.. Hopefully the bots are gone like you say. I'm very interested in learning more about the crime and punishment system that I've seen you talk about in your posts ;)

    Yeah. Heaven forbid an MMORPG would actually offer some RPG tools for the RolePlayers. Better just to add more dungeons, more loot and more grind, right?
