League of Legends: Twitter Hack Reveals Unannounced Title

The Twitter account belonging to Riot Games' Mark Merrill was commandeered by a hacker. During the takeover of the account, a game called League of Legends Supremacy was revealed. The information included images of the game that viewers have compared to Blizzard's Hearthstone.

We're always working on a variety of new ideas for League & beyond. Lots of experimentation that may never see the light of day :)

— Marc Merrill (@MarcMerrill)

After reclaiming his account, Merrill confirmed that the game was (is?) a work in progress that he considers "experimentation that may never see the light of day".

    Riot

Copy-paste games, add neon colors/boobs, dumb them down, rename them, sell as their own™

Riot doesn't sell the game. They sell skins and champions. You don't even have to buy the champions with actual money. Their champions are unique and are 'their own' to sell. Same with the skins. Your point is invalid.

No need to defend a company that has a stellar game against internet trolls.

It was trademarked in 2012. Hearthstone was announced in 2013. I do love an uninformed, angry Dota fan though.

You never played any Dota do you? I also bet you never knew that LoL creators worked on Dota before creating LoL?

DOTA was a community developed MOD for Warcraft III. Far be it from me to tell the guys who made DOTA ( which was free FYI ), not to jump on the money bandwagon and re-skin their OWN game and make millions of dollars off their OWN idea.

Riot Studios is sort of in trouble if they don't start developing new games. How long do they think LoL can be their cash cow? Now with DOTA 2 out and a crap ton of other MOBAs coming out or already released, MOBA lovers have plenty of different types of MOBAs to choose from.
