Most MMOs cater to a more adult audience but some take that notion much further and add an edge of sexy spice to the mix. In The List today, we take a look at five MMOs that might steam up your screen. Check out our five and then add any we missed to the comments.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a nipple or a lopped off head, tasteless and untactful content is the same across the board. When a game uses the word “adult” to market itself, chances are it will wind up coming off as silly or reaching in its subject matter. But, I think we can also all agree that just like with movies such as Sharknado and Bikini Carwash, there’s a certain charm to any good shameless game. So today, in honor of these ridiculous (yet not altogether useless) games, we’re listing out the Top 5 Most “Adult” MMOs on the Market. Mind you, they don’t have to be great games to make this list, but they’re listed from least absurd to most absurd for what it’s worth.

i laugh at how most part of these games are taken as "Adult" when they only show nudity to some degree, never played Age of Conan (not a fan of conan the barbarian really) but it looks the most adult compared to the other games showed in this post.
i'd like to add another to the list, Requiem Bloodymare (also called Memento Mori), has some nudity to some degree, but it what could tag it as adult is its really gory setting.
anyways, there's not a real adult mmorpg or mmo tbh. nudity and gore arent the only thing to consider a game as adult. its like saying someone is already an adult because it drinks, smokes and has sex like an addict, and adulthood is more than that.
Age of Conan looks with its "aged" Graphics still better than the Comic-Crap that looks bad from the very beginning.
To me it seems more like a bandwagon-argument that so called "realistic" graphic ages bad.
Any good game since 2004 looks good today!

That's not why they are considered "adult" games.
They are considered "Adult" games because the material is not suitable to children. Probably in some respects, based on local laws.
One can say going to a strip club is disgusting and seedy and most adults would have the good sense to not patronize them (for example) but that is opinion.
Regardless of one's opinion of a strip club it is not considered for children.

It's funny how "adult" games (except maybe Conan) are more childish than teen content xD
More like made for a teenage wanker. A game that has little furry racoon men, girls with tails, character dialogues written by 5 year old, but it is for adults, because sometimes you might see girls belly....

For all the adult in these games they don't really mean much, I mean.....Can men get naked? Prolly not or the peanut gallery would freak out incredibly....And is there sex? Hard life decisions? Boring adult lives? Drinking? Alcoholism and other problems that seem to plague the adult population of some countries? Gambling? Smoking? Driving to work, repeating the same boring shit ad nauseum for 8 hours then going home and wishing you could put a bullet in your head....Prolly not :-/ The adult label seems so ridiculous, to me it just means "Oh my god! A nipple! Think of the children! Incomprehensible violence is alright, but not nipples and tips!"

Tbh I'd consider this more of the top 5 sexualized games rather than adult. Yes, these are not exactly suited for children's consumption and do fall into more of an adult category but to call them adult I feel like is... too broad of a categorization or oversimplification.
I think the only one on that list that I would even consider to coming close to being "adult" is Age of Conan but even that is a bit underwhelming. The intro was cringe worthy at how blatantly sexualized the situation was with the captured woman and it felt like that IS the only reason they did it, to sexualize it and be like "hey guys, hey look, we're for adults cause skimpy captured women!" It also didn't help that after you rescue her she seemed to be perfectly okay with having sex with you, at least it felt heavily implied that that is what was going on with her comments and tone.
Still waiting for a real adult MMO that isn't purely about boobs and butts and isn't complete garbage.
Does any of these games come with monthly bills (ie; electric, gas,mortgage), 2.5 children and or alimony payments? Then its not adult content, btw if they ever made an mmo with any of these features that would the scariest one of all.

TSW has caused my to really like the look of funcoms engine, this reminds me to play Conan. Personably I think Funcom is the #1 company for niche and perhaps adult MMO'sPS the Blade and Soul men look like creepy sex offender types.
For all the people attacking Bill for suggesting nudity makes an MMO adult. You need to get your head out of your ass.
Assuming we are all adults here, we should clearly know what he means by "adult". Someone says adult beverage they mean it's not appropriate for kids. Adult activities etc. It's just a generic term for things not suitable for a younger audience.
It doesn't mean Bill thinks these games are more mature and clearly better choices for the adult gamer! If you really thought that's what he meant you need to get out more to understand common phrases.
