The download slowing down to a crawl

in Final Fantasy XIV
Ok! The game can finally be bought as a digital download. I am in the process of updating the game. That means downloading the big bulk of it. It starts out with a high speed of 2-3 mb a second. Then it slows down to a very slow speed. Anyone else have the same problem?

    as more people find out they can get it thru digital, the slower it is going to be.

    Ok. I see...no use canceling and trying again then...just have to wait it out..... :O)
