Was already a game and it flopped HARD! I had a copy and could never get it to install properly.

I played that game, the multiplayer was... I was disappointed because it was more of an FPS than an RPG.
There could be a number of reasons it flopped, personally the only reason I knew about it was because I wanted to play a game after getting into the books.
This kickstarter was started around a year ago, it appears nothing has happened with it, and no real information or new information was put out. Kickstarter link below.

The game was to be some sort of mobile RPG RTS type deal. I envision a cross between a tower defense and that semi side scrolling dragon named RPG everyone played at work in 2006. It doesn't sound at all worthy of the rich world of WoT.
WoT fans, from what I've seen are damn near impossible to please.

There was and probably still is a very popular WoT MUD that I played back when the internet was two cans and a string. It appears to still be running.

It sounds like the guys trying to get these games together aren't appreciated in the WoT community.
Personally the world would make a grand multi faction, territorial MMO. It would take a lot, a whole lot of work, but it could be done.
If it ever gets released and is truly a WoT game then it'll be a 3 hour game padded out to 8 hours with unnecessary prose and segments where nothing really happens.

LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already
It would fit right in with most of today's games then.
Three hours of game play, 8 hours of the player watching NPCs talk at each other.
It'll make millions, quick someone get on it!
