Oblivion has a smooth listening experience that still finds its way into many of my playlists.

"Legendary" might be pushing it, but the man does good work - good for SOE.

I don't know, I think I'm in love with it already, and he plans to make it better, perhaps add a more loud tone to it.

    Favorite MMO: Vanilla WoW
    Currently playing: GW2, EVE
    Excited for: Wildstar, maybe?

Love it! Just a reminder to everyone:

This is NOT the finished piece.

Smedley said it was a rough early version and Soule said it was not done.

lol, Soule almost looked like he didn't want it heard or be in the room.

Sounds crap, so generic, nowhere near as good as The Elder Scrolls music.

I cannot believe they didn't attempt to keep the EverQuest music in it at all.

I think he is just a very sensitive artistic individual, I'm sure to him all he heard was the imperfections in the music. It must be a very personal experience for him to write music, and having to show something unfinished was probably really hard.

I still like the Original EverQuest 2 theme.

That one just sticks into your mind forever.

I think Morrowind should be talked about more than Skyrim for the score he did.

NOOO WAY. Soule has been my favorite composer since Dungeon Siege. Good choice SOE, a damn good choice.

    Awesome composer!

Love his work @ Guild Wars 2!

the theme is nice, creates the desired effect. I'm expecting Jeremy to expand a bit on it with a counter-theme and add an overture before in a more dynamic style, which in its culmination will lead to this theme.

This is really great news! at least I know I'll like the music even if I don't know anything about the game yet:)

They could not have made a better choice, I will be buying the soundtrack if not the game.

To be honest, I never found his work to really be that amazing, and his work on guild wars 2 was poor compared to other games that have masterful music like FFXI in the same genre.

Vivasvan, the reveal is later today. Music is very important, btw.
