    I'd be really surprised if they don't let the SOE live types get first crack at this, and then probably they're "gold' members the second, but just a signup web page isn't that complicated:  Filling in a DB with a bunch of emails and log ins, and system specs.

    no it is not...

    www.soe.com sounds very legit.  If it's not then provide your reason and the site where a beta sign up would appear at (like the soe homepage or something).

    Why ? It's real.  I've been in EQ/EQ2 Betas for years and the page is exactly that same layout and how SOE does it.  In fact when clicking the link I was already logged in because I was just on the EQ forums.   

     

    If the link was fake it wouldn't of had me already logged on.

    I saw that earlier and "joined". There was 2 Everquest Next related beta sing-up to, the other one was called Everquest Next Landmark... Tool? Mobile App? Special Server?

    Oh and the description had "hardcore MMORPG" in it...

    I don't think this was accidental. I think it was another dose of trolling from SOE. They wanted to see how many people would catch it, and be talking about it. lol

    I like the dates on that registration though. Beta ends December 30, so possibly at Jan 2014 launch.

    Still exciting even though I didn't get to register.

    I got the same link forwarded to me from a buddy and I was able to get registered as well. When I log into my account, I see the same Beta confirmation screen as the OP. So it's about as official as it can get, the question is...is it supposed to be live yet. Looking at the broken links and the confirmation email I received, which has is incomplete (Just says Hello <myusername>,), I wonder if this got leaked before they were ready.

    I don't think you have to wonder. They probably planned to open this tomorrow or even on August 6th...

    Now they can blacklist everyone who signed up before it was "time".
