    Ya he's done nothing.   I mean helping start this genre and having the vision for it was nothing.

    i like SOE games but ... 

    adding  cash shops to subscriber mmos,  I believe Smed was the first to start that trend

    So making the game free with optional purchases is bad? Not to mention subscibers get free currency for the cash shop? SOE has my favorite F2P model currently, and I am an all access subscriber lol

    EQ2 was the first mmo to offer a RL AH  (similar to D3) except you could sell your characters for cash too

     

    that didnt go over well at all w gamers back in 2005 -- now that D3 has popularized the concept, its accepted

    I saw the link on Reddit and then found more stuff on Neogaf SOE Live Thread, the link doesn't work anymore though.

    Someone at SOE must have realized their mistake: aka rabbit fans probably check the next SOE beta link every freaking hours since Monday (they just increment the last number).

    Actually not true.  EQ1/EQ2 was moved to tonight (thursday night), while the 2 hours on Friday is devoted entirely to EQ Next.

    Better get dat updated schedule.
