Anyone know of any good forums to check out covering what little we know (but love to speculate about) EQN? No offense, but the MMORP crowd can be kinda...harsh?
The EQNext reddit is decently active. Nothing to refresh every hour or 2 though, but once a day or twice a day.
/r/EQNext
I can't even handle that EQ1 Sony Official Off-Topic forum you linked though. Most of them are admittingly still playing EQ1 and refuse to let anything change about EQ and expect EQN to be EQ1 with an HD remake.
Not that they all are, and while people here might be extremely opinionated in what they want or believe a Sandbox to be, atleast a bunch of opinions float around. The fact a thread was made about Smedley and SOE "turning on them" for making Everquest Next different is really.. pathetic, and kind of marks to me in a way why they are trying to cater to the non-EQ1/EQ2 crowd -- Because they already won them over and they can keep playing those games

I know man I know it was my only refuge until these MMORPG forums opened up.
I gotta give them some credit, way back when they said that EQN was going to be a EQ1 reboot with better graphics and newer systems so now that they have scraped it twice I think a lot of EQ players are coming to terms that their game is getting pretty old and nothing is gonna come along. They are worried players will leave EQ and communities die. Hopefully EQN can be a new home for them.
I believe Feldon will be making an EQN Wire site. He currently manages and maintains EQ2Wire. Its a great site for open discussion and the latest news.

The ones already listed are all pretty good there's just not a lot of info to chat about.

www.eqnexus.com has a very established community. We have hit 600k page views for the month of June and that is heavily rising. After SOE live we will have several developer interviews and a weekly podcast where we will talk with fans and devs.
Also just wanted to mention we have a team of writers that are pumping out articles to keep us entertained until the game announcement. My suggestion is join all the communities and interact with each other, because the best thing about eq players is our great community.

Only ones I know of right now are (but they're all pretty dead):

I'm assuming SoE will open up the official forums soon after SoE Live.

We have been talking for a very long time over on the Official Everquest Forums in the Off Topic section.
You can see that most of the discussion is EQNext. SOE even stops by once in a while:

EQ2 forums do not have any EQN discussion tho.
This. They'll probalby launch the day of, or shortly thereafter.

Because people like to speculate....
that link only gives eq2wire (I think Feldon needs to work on it)
this link works for EQN specific news

Feldon purchased the eqnwire domain not too long ago. He'll work on it as the news starts rolling in, I'm sure.
My post was directed toward Telon, who if you read his post, mentioned Feldon making an EQN site... So I linked him to the site.
Thank you for the link
